Bot Visibility & Consent
Important: Meeting Consent
The OneMeet bot is visible to all participants. It appears as "OneMeet Notes" in the meeting, providing clear notice that the meeting is being recorded.
- Always ensure you have consent to record meetings
- The host may need to admit the bot from the waiting room
- Some organizations may block external bots
Starting the Bot
From Calendar View
Go to the Calendar page, find your meeting, and click "Start Bot". The bot will join automatically when you're ready.
Manual Start with Meeting Link
Click "New Bot Session" and paste any Zoom, Teams, or Meet link. The bot will join the meeting within seconds.
Troubleshooting
Bot not joining?
- • Check that the meeting link is valid and the meeting has started
- • Ensure the host has enabled "Allow external participants"
- • For Teams, the organizer may need to admit the bot
Bot was removed from meeting?
- • The host may have removed the bot manually
- • Some organizations block recording bots by policy
- • Contact the meeting host to allow the bot
No transcript appearing?
- • Ensure the meeting has audio/participants speaking
- • Check your credit balance
- • Refresh the dashboard to see the latest transcript
