Transcription Issues

Transcription isn't starting

Check these common causes:

  • Ensure you've granted microphone permissions to your browser
  • Check that your microphone is not muted at the system level
  • Try a different browser (Chrome or Edge recommended)
  • Refresh the page and try again
  • Verify you have remaining credits in your account
Transcription accuracy is poor

Improve accuracy with these tips:

  • Use a dedicated microphone instead of built-in laptop mic
  • Reduce background noise in your environment
  • Verify you've selected the correct source language
  • Speak clearly and at a moderate pace
  • Avoid multiple people speaking at once
Transcription stops unexpectedly

Common causes and solutions:

  • Check your internet connection stability
  • Verify you haven't run out of credits
  • Browser tab may have been put to sleep - keep the tab active
  • Try using Chrome or Edge for best compatibility

Meeting Bot Issues

Bot isn't joining my meeting

Try these solutions:

  • Verify the meeting link is correct and the meeting has started
  • Check if the meeting has a waiting room - the host needs to admit the bot
  • Some organizations block external participants - ask the host to allow external guests
  • For Teams: The organizer may need to enable "Allow external participants"
  • Wait 1-2 minutes, the bot may take time to join during peak hours
Bot was removed from the meeting

This can happen when:

  • A host manually removed the bot
  • Organization policy automatically removes recording bots
  • The meeting ended unexpectedly

Contact the meeting host to ensure they're aware of and permit the recording bot.

Bot joined but no transcript appears

Check the following:

  • Ensure participants are speaking - the bot only transcribes when there's audio
  • Refresh your dashboard to see the latest transcript
  • Check your credit balance
  • There may be a short delay (10-30 seconds) before text appears

Credits & Billing

I ran out of credits mid-recording

If you run out of credits during a recording:

  • The transcript created so far is saved
  • Upgrade your plan or wait for monthly credit refresh
  • Consider upgrading to a higher tier for more credits
When do my credits reset?

Credits reset on your billing date each month. Check Settings → Subscription to see your next reset date.

Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel:

  1. Go to Settings → Subscription
  2. Click "Manage Subscription"
  3. Select "Cancel Subscription"

You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Translation Issues

Translation isn't appearing
  • Ensure Live Translation is enabled in Settings → Transcription
  • Check that you've selected a target language different from the source
  • Translation requires an active internet connection
Translation quality is poor

Machine translation may not be perfect. For better results:

  • Ensure the source transcription is accurate first
  • Edit any transcription errors before translating
  • Technical or domain-specific terms may need manual review

Export Issues

PDF export is not available

PDF export requires a Basic plan or higher. The Free plan only supports TXT export.

Upgrade your plan →

Export file won't download
  • Check your browser isn't blocking downloads
  • Disable any ad blockers temporarily
  • Try a different browser
  • For large transcripts, the file may take a moment to generate

Account Issues

I can't log in
  • Try resetting your password
  • If you signed up with Google/Microsoft, use that same provider
  • Clear browser cookies and try again
  • Contact support if you're still locked out
How do I delete my account?

To delete your account:

  1. Go to Settings → Account
  2. Scroll to "Danger Zone"
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. Type "DELETE MY ACCOUNT" to confirm

30-Day Recovery Period: After deletion, you have 30 days to recover your account. Visit /recover-account to restore your account and data.

After 30 days, all data will be permanently deleted.

Can I recover a deleted account?

Yes, within 30 days of deletion:

  1. Go to /recover-account
  2. Enter your email and password
  3. Click "Recover My Account"

Your account and all data will be fully restored. After 30 days, recovery is no longer possible.
